lifelab x StadtGesichter Volume 1 - 05.12.2020

lifelab.spaces has officially ventured on its safari by hosting an event series in collaboration with #StadtGesichter. The first part took place last Saturday, 05. December 2020 from 18:00 - 20:00 via Twitch live streaming.
The series aims to promote lifelab as an events place provider and give local artists a platform for live performance as an after-work special. In accordance with federal regulations, safety precautions were maintained throughout the event.

#StadtGesichter organizer Soleil Ndongala hosted the affair for the evening.
First to take the stage was 25-year-old newcomer Shakeef, from Aachen. He describes his music as RNB "rap and blues", and sees himself as an old soul. His performance provided an energetic start to the evening.

Next to take the mic was Sonja Katharina Mross. A seasoned songwriter since 16, she has always been in search of the limit of raw emotion. Her poignant lyrics have touched the hearts of the crowd at the venue and online.

In between performances, Soleil had a quick talk with Hannes Dvorschak and Lisa Schulze, the visionaries behind lifelab.spaces. They discussed the transformation lifelab has undergone, how it originated and the visions the two have in mind for the future. The Organisation and its newly finished Space creates a natural environment for experimentation and leads to a community of change makers.
Rounding off the event was soul crooner HEEN, a multifaceted vocalist whose catchy hook lines and laid back grooves garnered acclaim from the audience that evening.

After the performances, Soleil concluded the event by thanking the viewers and the sponsors for the donations sent in. The first part of the online series was a success, with an international audience reaching from Cologne to the Philippines!
Join us again next Saturday, 12. December 2020, as StadtGesichter and lifelab jointly feature two new local artists and two resource speakers whose energy and passion matches our vision. Exciting times ahead!
