About this Event
We invite you to join us in exploring the Future of Impact Work on November 16th from 19:00-22:00 at Wertheim Cologne, co-hosted by Amani Instituteand lifelab.
From the World Economic Forum to the Silicon Valley everyone talks about the future of work. We want to explore how our rapidly changing world is affecting the future of impact work in Europe & beyond and what is needed from institutions, companies, organizations and professionals across sectors to take action & pro-actively shape our future.
Panel - Get input from the leaders of tomorrow
We will have a panel discussion between experts and leaders from different sectors who are shaping the future of impact work. They will enter a deep dialogue to explore challenging questions - think 'TED conversation' rather than a TED talk.
Questions that move us include, but are not limited to:
Perspectives - what does the future of impact work look like in Europe and beyond?
A better world? The promises and pitfalls of high-tech in creating positive social impact
Re-skilling? When systems collapse, people rise
Training for what? The future of leadership - thriving vs. surviving

Activity - Get moving
You will be able to learn from different ways of thinking and share your own in a facilitated - and introvert-friendly - networking activity that will help you make connections with like-minded professionals.
The conversation will be in English because we have international speakers, but in the activities you will be able to also speak German.
Why are we talking about this?
In a time in which taking action seems so urgent, we want to create spaces in which we can take a step back, to learn from people who do - across sectors and geographical boundaries.
Strategically located in emerging markets in hubs of social innovation such as Sao Paulo, Bangalore and Nairobi, Amani Institute is inviting people who are creating - or want to create - social impact globally to a series of conversations to cross-pollinate insights from experts and thought leaders.
Is this for you?
If you are a professional working with social impact or are interested in building a career in the field and want to meet like-minded people, this is the right space for you to be in!
